Day and Night Pictures

    The above pictures were taken a night. The first picture was taken, of the windsock, on a time exposure of about 4 seconds shortly after being installed. The image is blured because the wind was blowing during this picture. The second and third pictures were taken over a year later with different camera settings. The third picture captured the WFAA light in the ON condition. This BDS Lighted Windsock is installed at the Ocean City Fishing Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey USA and is over the Atlantic Ocean. The windsock has faded form it's orginal "Internatinal Orange" color from when it was installed.

    Using Google Earth enter "1416 boardwalk ocean city nj", zoom into the fishing pier and select the camera icon "Fishing Pier at Dusk".

    Video clip. These pictures were taken at the Ocean City Fishing Club in Ocean City, New Jersey USA. The lighted windsock is installed on the outer pier over the Atlantic Ocean. (Ocean City is located approximately 10 miles south of Atlantic City, NJ). This video clip is three (3) minutes long and was taken during a very windy day and very windy damp night. Our BDS Model 735LWF-WFAA (Lighted Windsock Frame with a Whelen FAA approved anti-collision top beacon) is shown. We are using our BDS Model 735ACCU-PC (AC Control Unit with Photo Control) to power the lights. This unit has the C421IO Int'l Orange windsock (18" x 5' x 8") windsock. This video clip was taken in late April 2008.
