1. The windsock frame has a LED light assembly for illuminating the windsock at night and has an (optional) self-contained solar powered top beacon.

2. The LED light assembly in the frame has many different field selectable flash patterns. The standard flash pattern setting is Steady Burn
(ON continuously) or 2 seconds ON, 2 seconds OFF (50% duty cycle) as long as power is applied. Steady Burn consumed the most power. See specifications -

3. The controller in the Solar Powered Control Unit (SPCU) can be field set to ten (10) different control options. These control options include providing
power to the light in the windsock frame from Dusk-to-Dawn (D/D) and other setting where power is ON from differenet sunset to sunrise periods. Setting the controller to Dusk-to-Dawn consumes the most power. See specifications - Windsock Specifications
4. BDS's standard Solar Powered Control Unit is supplied with a 20 watt solar panel and a 12 volt, 12Ah battery.
5. Charging the battery during daylight hours varies greatly depending on the location where the lighted windsock is installed. Areas with many
cloudy days as well as the months of December through February can be diffult for keeping the battery charged. We can supply a larger solar panel and
a larger battery when required. Consult factory.

3 The AC Control Unit (ACCU) has a universal power supply which accepts an AC input voltage between 90 to 264 volts with an output of 12VDC for powering
the LED light assembly in the frame and the (optional) top beacon when ordered.
4. The AC Control Unit can be supplied with either a Photo Control (PC) or a Timer Switch (TS). When supplied with a photo control (PC), power to the
light/s is controlled by when the photo control senses darkness (ON at dusk OFF at dawn). The windsock light/s are ON from dusk to dawn. The ACCU (PC)
must be installed outdoors. When supplied with a timer switch (TS), power to the light/s is supplied to the light/s depending on how the timer has been
programmed. Many different ON/OFF times can be programmed. The ACCU (TS) can be installed indoors or outdoors.
5. The AC Powered Control Unit is very flexible but requires an AC power source.
